Dr Namid Stillman is Head of AI at Simudyne, leading the development of advanced simulation-based and AI systems for industrial applications. An interdisciplinary computational scientist by training, he holds a PhD in Engineering Mathematics and has previously conducted postdoctoral research in drug discovery, material science and cell biology at the University of Bristol and University College London. At Simudyne since 2023, Dr Stillman drives R&D in artificial intelligence, where he leads on pre-training Large Market Models (LMMs) and post-training language models for financial workflows. He is author of three patents and more than 20 peer-reviewed works in top journals and conferences, spanning computational biology, nanomedicine, active matter, and AI-driven financial modelling. Dr Stillman is the author of Graph Neural Networks in Action, a practical guide to graph-based machine learning, and contributes actively to the broader AI community through conference talks and professional networks.
